Hello guys,

I have 1 simple q for you.

if specific keyword has 0 bidding history and currently no advertising competition, do i get to have 0.01c € cpc?

ty for your answers!

Such keywords as explained by OP, usually in the Google Ads campaign, under keywords, are marked as "Low search volume" are associated with very little search traffic or no search traffic.
Such keywords are kept out of the ad auction of Google Ads and will not be served in Google search.
So, if, and I very specifically say IF a keyword's status in a Google Ads campaign shows as "low search volume" THEN it will not be served, not be shown in Google Ads irrespective of that keyword's bid amount.

First of all ty for your reply.

I get what you are saying. So lets say if i open the keywordsplanner and look for kw that have 0 competition, perhaps no bidding history but it says average monthly search of 10-100 / 100-1000 / 1000-10000 i cant advertise? Therefore if i try to it would not be displayed?

What happens if i lets say make a “group” of those type a kw of 10k monthly searches combined altogether, should i be able to advertise then?

Doesn't matter if you group them, the "low search volume" is per keyword. If you have a lot of these keywords, it will also bring down your account score.

But you can always try and see what happens.

Thanks for response everybody.

So what is not considered as a “low search volume” ? Because if you ask me, i would say 1000 different people / month googling specific kw is not something negligible

What are the best practices to find low cpc kw with quality traffic then? What approach should i consider?

// is it even possible to get 0.01c up to lets say 0.04cpc then?

The thing is I would like to try affiliate marketing, maybe clickbank for the start and i need to so called flip the market because of a small budget. I don’t neccesarily need only strong buyer intent kws because i would be funneling them via mail. The best thing that comes to my mind is to get the lowest cpc possible and then funnel it down for the good.

what is the best approach?

Yes you can get cheap clicks. Try broad or phrase match keywords and set max CPC to 0.01/0.02.

You will probably not win many auctions, so try and test a lot of keywords. It also depends on the quality of your landing page.

Keywords with 1000 monthly volume are not considered low volume. I think it is more in the range of 0-10. But even those can get some clicks.
