Google screws up. Check your ranks

I strongly urge all of you to check your websites in Google. Seems like google is messing up these days pushing alot of sites in alot he backend. Alot of webmasters are complaining about this from getting drop from search engine after the last update.

Google search engine is so screwed now. Do a search for something now, and I can almost bet you will not find what your looking for

I lost 90% of my google traffic recently.

Just wondering if anyone can explain my google search engine rankings 4 this keyword I have.

It keeps jumping from position # 5 to # 400 back and forth, and its been jumping between these two numbers for the past half month. I obviously want it to stay at #5, any ideas?
 
cpugeek, thats not screwing in last few days. That is something that is going on last 20 months.

Unexpected disappearing from serps started in December 2006. and its quite normal these days. I have 2 sites that are nowhere to find for months, and only thing you can do is to wait.
 
I'd love to B*T@H Slap Google - I also had a site on the first page for my keyword and help that position for quite a while and then all the sudden it disappeared. My backlinks continue to grow and my PR has increased so that's not the problem. However, I did quit advertising and building backlinks for this month so maybe google penalized me for not being consistent lol. Who knows, who cares. Luckly Google only provides a small portion of my traffic. I'll get back up there someday.
 
Yea who knows. Alot of people are upset about this. i think google is screwing up but I am holdling strong in Yahoo
 
I know I've lost a lot of Page Rank, but since I don't care about that and my rankings are continuing to stay strong it hasn't otherwise affected me.
 
thats why i have my mirror sites and doorway pages to back me up

check your backlinks dear
your ranking dropping out because you competitor are gaining links and PR

snowwhite, agree with you. I also have few back up site that will continue in the front page of google. in the 1st page, I have 8 sites in mine. I already doing the seo. no choice, do for living. :P

really ? I guess its normal thatn suddenly 500 competitors gain more links than you, and yyou fall from 3th, 4th place to 500

Don't think so ;)
 
@Almir do you know if your site is penalized by google?

its either a change in algo or a bug
 
It also drops my ranking when I use adwords.
So i dont do any adwords for my sites, just for sales pages.

I think that is what cpugeek is referring to. I have that experience, and you can see at least 3 threads daily in DP Google section about this. It is happening all the time. Sites are coming in and out, they are still indexed, but loose all renkings

whats good to discover the connection between the sites having a regular drop from their rankings. What are their themes? how about niches? are they doing the same strategy/seo?
 
Well, I have some good news

After some 6 months, one of my 2 main moneymakers that dropped in same time, finally came back today. Suddenly, same as when it disappeared. God, I missed those 20$/day, its great feeling to see them back :)

Snow, I don't know, maybe directories. I used to use them a lot, but I do it like 5-10 daily usually, nothing too much, and all manually. But both of these two sites have lot of natural backlinks. So I just can't explain. I am thinking about directories, but I have other sites with directories links, and they are OK. On other side, why would they came back if that linking strategy is bad.

I just think its some kind od Google glitch. On 26.12.2006 hundreds of webmasters reported fall, 2 months after, all came back on same day. Month after - same again. And then, I haven't notice mass falling on same time, but people always report same thing on individual basis.
 
weird!!!!! I just checked the rankings of my other sites and something happened(not major)..WTF! Im not sure If Im gonna agree, but maybe there really is a bug

btw, have you heard about Brad Fallon's Wedding Favors website - t'was totally dumped by Google some time ago
