Google Rich Snippets

We're putting some effort into getting Rich Snippets working with our review content (rating, author, release date, etc.).

Does this help with page rank? So far it's been about a week and none of the items have materialized with the stars and such....

Check Google Webmaster Tools, if they're correct or with the structured data testing tool developers.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/

Our shop data took a few days to show up in serps. If I recall correct webmaster tools had it after a day or two. Try submitting you sitemap.
