My 3 years old clean white hat website with high quality content written by native English speaking writers got hit on the 20th of September for 80-90% of traffic. Out of curiosity I checked what kind of websites show up in top 5-10 for the keywords that I was keeping top-3 positions, and those are thin written articles that barely cover the topic, reddit, news sites (even though I am in a non-news related specific niche). I really do hope that they revert this update and things will get back to normal.

we all hope so! things are moving quite a bit at the moment as google has launched 2 updates at the same time. Spam and Core... I'm yo-yoing but staying at the top of the list. to be seen over time.
