Hi Everyone,
A friend has come to me after discovering his DA having been artificially inflated with around 150 Google redirect notices. I am aware that these have no SEO benefit and are discounted by ahrefs and GSC. My friend said that these appeared after using a WordPress migration plugin when he moved his site to a new domain.
I have been doing some tests and trying to recreate what has happened but have not had much success. I have added the modified links to a useless domain for testing in various ways but cannot seem to have them crawled.
There does not seem to be much info on Google regarding this so would someone mind inboxing me the process used to help me gain a better understanding?
