Google Redirect Help Please!

Hello BHW,

I am making my first niche site with a clickbank product! I ordered a gig from fiverr, and my site when from almost nowhere to the bottom on the second page of google in 2 weeks. My main keyword has 27k global searches and low competition (according to Google's Keyword tool).

I noticed that the link to my site on google is to a page that isn't the main page, how do I have all traffic from google be redirected to the main page of my website? It is a wordpress site by the way.

First of all the competition you see in google keyword tool is not SEO competition. It is Adwords ppc competition. Basically showing how much money people are paying for a click from Adwords.

Anyways, you are looking for a 301 redirect to pass on link juice. Get the yoast SEO plugin for Wordpress and to will have options for individual posts and pages to 301 redirect them to any other page. Shouldn't take more than 2 minutes

Would it be okay to do this through my webhosting panel? Or is this harmful to the SEO?

It should be fine doing it from the panel just make sure it is a 301 redirect
