Google Ranking Questions

Hello, I know this is a blackhat forum, but I do not know who or where to ask these questions. So i'll try here.

I want to know if a domain I registered today can rank on the first page of google for the keywords i'm choosing. The niche is in the Astrology field, it is very very low competition. The search keyword only gets about a thousand searches a month. I know a site that gives you an estimate on how difficult it will be to rank for the keywords in terms of competition and it scored "Easy".

I would like to know if my domain I registered today and site I will be building in the next few weeks will rank on the first page of google. I already googled the main keywords and the sites that appear aren't Parasite sites, except for one youtube video. I plan on rewriting a few book excerpts and posting it as content. It will be a wordpress blog, or maybe joomla. There will be anywhere between 5 to 20 blog/joomla content posts of articles. I will be putting affiliate banners up to monetize the site. Will I have to worry about PR and making backlinks and linking social media, I ask this because if the competition for the main keywords are very low, will I need to worry about these factors. Obviously it would help if the domain had higher PR and I had alot of backlinks and a social media following. But since it is very low competition can I just make the site, add the content and sit and wait?

I remembered when that is all you had to do to rank on google, this was over a decade ago. I am wondering if since it is low competition then the high PR, backlink building and social media aspects won't be to much of a needed factor in ranking and getting organic hits.

I realized that micro-niche sites arent as successful as they use to be. I read on many different sites, what you need now is authority sites, which means quality and steady content. If i can provide quality content and keep it up at a steady pace, can I rank my site and brand new domain on the first, or close to the first page of google for organic searches?

If it's very low competition, you should be able to rank this on the first page easily.

Quick question, is the domain an exact match or near exact match of the keyword you are aiming for? If it is, you should rank page 1
with little link building etc..

I have a couple of dating sites with EMD and they rank 1 with no link building and get some decent traffic. Some people say not to use EMD , but they still work like a charm.

I have 3 domains to choose from, 1 is exact match, one is near exact match and the other is not exact match.
I remember when exact match was one of the best ways to rank, and I think it still is. Although you don't necessarily need exact match if the content, (especially the post titles) are keyword rich.

How long would it take to reach google since it is very low competition. Would I have to link the site to Google Webmaster tools and create a site map so the spider can find the site faster than normal?
