I ranked in google # 17 for a keyword . The post is not the one for the keyword.

The keyword for example is : California weather in March and the post has the same name. I rank for California weather in March for the post Florida weather in Spring.

    How come ?

I searched many times and is giving me same result.

Assuming you have a fairly new site, you may just need to wait it out.

If nothing after a few weeks, drip feed some quality links to it with your long tail or brand anchor to that page.

    Also social signal may help!
