I'm in a particularly difficult and competitive niche for my website, and I'll have to honestly say that I know the industry and I know the other websites out there that are ranking and I can honestly say that my website is by far much better quality wise for the niche and keywords. I provide REAL information and not just BS stuff, but video-clips, real tips etc. Every single day I post at least one 500 word article and people actually leave comments and interact on the website. Yet I see these super BS websites ranking at the top of my niche which have barely readable content. I'm ranking for some long tailed keywords and I get a decent amount of traffic, but nothing great.
All in all, it seems like Google's claim that a site with "quality content" is total bull, and its all about tricking the system with the current google update in order to get good rankings. I used to be ahead of the game with xrumer and ranking sites #1 for over a year, etc but then after panda I didn't feel like losing an entire site because I was using blackhat methods to rank
I mean all you have to do is type in "make money online" or "make money," and you will see how google is ranking spammed videos on youtube in the first 3-4 slots. It's really pathetic.
