This is a fairly new domain, (3 weeks old) I have worked hard on blackhat SEO including Xrumer blasts, scrapebox, but i never ping any backlinks.

Two days ago I was ranking 2nd on the keyword I want, I was so happy, but today it's no where to be found on this same keyword.

I am not sure but it doesn't look like it's sand boxed, because if I do a search on my exact domain, I can see my site.

If i do "site:myurl.com" I can see a bunch for my urls.

Why is this happening?

anyone else experience this?

I think it's because of the Google update.

Many sites have been affected by that with huge drop of traffic.

Were you getting any traffic ranked number 2? Seems a bit "odd" you would rank that high right off the bat. Sites usually rank high when they come into the SERPS too because there's no backlink data to go on. Once the quality of backlinks is determined, then its placed. But Blasting on a new site heh,,, hasn't turned out good for some folks here.

Wouldn't worry about it right now. Get the next site built.

In my experience and opinion, G wants to test a new site to see how well people like your site. They move you up to see what percentage of people click the back button, and how long they stay on your site.

Then they move the site back down before making a permanent change.

If the site is only three weeks old, I wouldn't be too concerned about.

It may only be the "Google dance."

Don't be surprised if your site reappears in a day or two with an even better ranking.

It could be a google dance as a result of some of your links being devalued.

I know for myself that my xrumer blasts got devauled in the past 2 weeks and I have dropped 7 pages as a result.

you should wait for some days. cause it can be due to Google's crawling too. so before taking any step i think you should wait for a while.

your site is only 3 weeks old and you think you're going to hold a #2 spot right off the bat? hilarious.

This is also true.

If you are using XRumer or SENuke, try to build some actual links that may have some value.

Should help.

Google dance maybe yes, i have same problem, ranking drop for my biggest site. this is my 2nd GD.

Well, it's really niche keyword, not much competition there. My whole side was optimized for this particular keyword.

Actually the same happened to my other site, which's already 6 months old, and still haven't jump in ranking. Google Dance can last 6 months?

Is your to sites connected to each other in some way? If they are, remove all links.

Google is doing something big on their end to combat site spam. It's more than ever that old sites that has content continually ranking well in the results.

New sites now have little or chance. That's the new google.
