I'm noticing more people are ranking in the search engines with their Google profile pages which are hooked up to their blog. Does anyone know how I can achieve this as well? When I view these peoples Google profile pages I can't see where they have linked it up with their blog, and I'm not sure what SEO methods should be implemented to rank for certain keywords easily with the help of having a Google profile page.

cool_symex, do you have any tips on how to leverage off a Google profile page with search engine rankings? As I mentioned in my original post, it seems that a Google profile page is helping rank associated blog posts for specific keywords, but I have no idea how this actually works.

If you're willing to share your understanding so far that would be great. If not, maybe someone else can help out?

I'm sorry to be bumping this post up again, but seeing as having a Google profile page seems to pretty much rank non-keyword related blog posts on the first page of Google for what I have seen to be some fairly competitive keywords, surely more people are using this for SEO?? I can't imagine it being overlooked to the extent that no one can provide any feedback on this. Maybe I'm wrong.
