Hi,
Anyone can tell me please :
1-When does Google update the PR of the websites and How many times during the year ?
2-How many backlinks and from which PR websites do my website need to jump from :
0---->1
0-----> 2 ,0------>3 0---->4 and so on ?
3-Does the age matter in this case or I can work on new website and expect that will get PR high if i am doing Backlinks to it ?

Gosh, i just checked google pagerank and that of facebook, it's still PR 9, but that of twitter still's 10, google are still mysterious.

This really makes no sense, went from pr0 to pr5 lol

Type of site: thin affiliate with 7k indexed pages

Backlinking: tried to deindex it with 100k comments 50k xrumer 4k amr article links
Backlinking: my youtube channel went to PR6 lol, did some commenting at PR8's with a d0-follow link from the profile section back to my mainpage so guess that semi-explains.

Rankings: close to zero, get about 5 uniques/day lol

WTF??? 1 site went from a PR1 to a 2 that has quite a few new backlinks with at least 40 of those being high quality PR4-6 links.

Lots of sad faces in this thread - lots of happy ones too. Lets face it, if PR is good for anything these days, its a good indicator of how effective your own personal methods of link building are.

Man PR is some fucked up shit.
My 2 main sites that I've worked mostly on are still PR 0. However 2 sites that are 3 months old are now PR3 and 2 sites that are 3 months old are now PR2. It's strange indeed...
