Can someone tell me why one day my MNS site will sit a day or two at position 7 on page one above a bunch of youtube videos, and then it'll fall back to page two for a couple of days, behind the same videos, and then back again... is it normal to alternate like that? The site is a month and a half old.

I think this is normal, all my sites are bouncing back and forth. Even sites that are older then 1 year.

I thought I was gonna have a problem out ranking Youtube videos, but every couple of days it does, and then it doesn't lol.... its almost like googles sharing the love... lol even though I know they aren't.

That is absolutely fine. Normally when you create some hefty backlinks initially google thinks that your site is gaining some sort of popularity. So normally moves you at the top and then later things settle down.

ll my (mostly) webs jumping back and forth like crazy

Ok question time....

I came to page one a lil while ago, this has been happening the past couple of day's like mentioned, I'm hitting between $2-3 a day in adsense... with about 100 or so impressions and 1- 3 clicks. what should I do? add more content? its been about 4 days since I've even been to the Admin panel. or let the site settle first? I plug a manual link here and there as I run into places. only a few though. but about 2 weeks ago I had a blast of forum profiles done 1000 or so, and a wiki blast from Apekillape done...

adding more content is always a good idea, keep adding content every couple of days if you can and vary the keywords and you'll get more and more traffic.

This is actually kind of exciting..... its my first site that I've actually put some effort into... lol... $2-3 isn't much. Multiply that by 50 though :D But my goal is to learn the process and master it with one and then add more to my portfolio. Long way to go though :)

yes, that's a good way to go...just a little something from my experience, even if you concentrate on one site, build a few more in the meantime too, and put them up with just one article, this way, when you'll have the time to start working on them, they will be "older" and that way you can throw more links at them and grow them faster.

That's the google dance. It occurs because google algorithm is constantly recalculation the value of sites, hence reindexing them.

Google dance I think too. Until May, 5 more or less.
