Google Plus Page Pg1

Hope someone can help...

When 'googling' company name - the right hand side is only showing Google Places/Maps and the business' location.

Is there any way to make it show the Google Plus page...

And, we're looking for a way to boost the following of this page.

I'm also not sure if you MUST have a places account for this to work?

Getting more social signals especially G+ will help improve your rankings. I used to be able to get top spots by buying traffic to my places page, but i havent tried it in awhile.
