yes. add real code to your website and when you visit website you will see how many you have

Apparently it takes some time before all the Google+1 votes appear on your site SO check them out again tomorrow if you've gotten lots of plusses today!

Yes, go to google . com / webmasters/+1/button/ then advanced options and place the url and watch the preview display the amount of +1's.

then check your votes without visiting your website's button.
