Google Plus in serps!

Honestly, I can't understand what you're asking. Can you clarify what you're trying to accomplish? With more details?

You said:

1) Google+ page on "side". Are you trying to get his G+ to link to his G local? Are you trying to rank his G local on Google? I'm just not 100% sure what you mean.

2) Social Media sites - then you list a bunch of random sites. So again, I have no idea what you are ASKING. If you "want" a twitter page, then get a twitter page, if you want a linkedin page.... then MAKE a linked in page. All you said is you "want" these properties, so make them.

3) Youtube page - Again, I am confused as hell. Do you just "want" a youtube page? If so, then MAKE one. I'm not trying to annoy you, but you really need to be specific about what you want, other than saying I "want" a youtube page. If you're trying to RANK a youtube page, or video, thats a different story, and I can easily show you how.

But overall, I can't answer any of your questions because the way you're framing them... maybe because our styles of marketing are too different... or we use different words for different things. When you say "But the Google+ profile of the company is not showing up in the side when searched",What "side" are you talking about? And where are you searching? Do you mean its not showing on the side of his google local? Like when a companies google+ shows on the side of their google local?

Can you please just clarify those few things. Because I can show you how to rank a google local or g+ page, or a youtube video, or facebook, etc etc... but you seem to be talking about something different?

I'd verify the G+ page regardless. It sounds like he's running a decent-sized network and if his competition spams negative reviews well there's not much he can do except contest them.

Simply explain to them the benefits outweighing the cons, since there are ways to take care of spam.
You need them to rank better so they keep improving in the SERPS, and this is how you do it. Just be honest with them.

Google plus to me has always been sporadic with inclusion of google plus info . It can vary bigtime. Make sure the same author who wrote the previous articles is the same one. I have a website where I was always the only author, then I hired someone to write for me putting credit to him in the heading of the article. After this all google + info was removed from my indexing, still hasn't come back.
I realize this is different from your situation, perhaps you can extrapolate something useful however from this post even if its not totally the same scenario.

The use of G+ is not such benefit in SERPS - but I can say that you must have it in order to show the legit of your business that's all

It's a bit confusing like the other's have said but from the way it sounds to me is you need to match the names if you have a generic name on Google + or Places etc.. sounds like its going into ghost mode, limbo then it's being verified by other sources and coming back or someone may be reporting it
