I don't believe it in it yet. But I strongly believe that they take into account the presence or no of this button.
So, i've put it on the footer on a brand new website. I dunno if it is related but 3 weeks later i get a PR2 (that is today).
Another older website i made without this button still PR0.
Coincidence ? correlation ? Dunno but i'd rather stick to what G want me to do

And just made a bot with proxy support

This is top information, can you replicate this test? I think theres a pagerank update going on right now. Maybe it was just that.
Anyone sharing this though?

I think you're a genius. I just realized the same exact effect on my sites. I only put the button site wide on my one site out of 7 I've been promoting and it was PR0 and now after the update PR3. All the rest are unchanged.
