Google Play Ranking Question

So, I've got an app that ranks number 1 in "wedding videos" on Google Play, but it doesn't show up at all when you just search "wedding". However, a number of competing apps that also show up when you search "wedding videos" do show up with the regular "wedding" results. Can anyone explain why I'm not ranking in the broader niche as well?

because "wedding" is much more competitive keyword than "wedding videos"
