Google places

Hey guys,
I want to get started on something with google place. Because you know some business don't have google place but I'm not sure what service that would be considered. And is there a way to make the income recurring? Any advice on getting started would be much appreciated.

There are a number of very good threads on this subject including a WSO that tells you exactly what you need to do to get a first page ranking. Search "google places" (your title). Always search before you ask.
