Does anyone have the key to this? I am on p1 for my main 2 keywords thru blackhat SEO etc but no where (page 10) for the places.

But what really P8ssed me off is a competitor has just shown up on P1 for places but no SEO has been done to site. In fact he was not even on places until today !!!

So how was this done and what is the key for places??

To update he has 1 backlink from a website called Blekko ??? WTF how is this possible ???

Places rankings are determined by multiple factors:

• Onpage Website SEO
• Offpage Website SEO
• Onpage Places SEO
• Offpage Places SEO (I don't mean backlinks to your places listing on this one)
• Reviews
• Citations

That's just a few. There's something like 23 ranking factors for places.
