GOOGLE PLACES verification problem!

That has happened to me on some "random" edits.... I was forced to just can the listing. It's a bummer.

For the types of businesses that I work with, people don't show up at their door... they either call or sometimes email, so it works.

You can use any address that can accept packages (Fedex, UPS, etc)... that's pretty much the Google rule... so that does rule out PO Boxes.

Seems like it would be difficult/impossible to target the city center for better rank. I find that, with the right keywords and setup, you can grab page 1 for competitive terms in big cities....but you must be near the city center.

Or am I missing something? I can't see how all those listings in the same address (diff suite#) would perform, since geographically they are fighting against each other.

FYI..... this guy is only going to try to scam you into paying for his "awesome methodd" in broken english, and doesn't seem to have anything to offer other than lies, and his open wallet for you to dump money into.

So far, on all of these threads regarding google places verify, I see people talking and trying new methods and "teaming up" so we can beat this. Judging from the PM I got from seobizwiz, he's full of shite and just trying to capitalize on his BHW bretheren during this trying time.

I've already heard of a few "work-arounds" that won't work for me (have someone else verify for you, or setting up multiple suite numbers etc), so there is no way I will PAY someone like seobizwiz who can only mutter broken english and tell me how great his method is. Anyway, I'm more than skeptical on this and can usually smell an un-talented scammer a mile away!

Well... for me they are in different niches so they aren't actually competing with each other.

So far, I haven't seen any easy way around any of this...
