Hi,

Tks a lot for your forum...

As a newbie in seo, i wonder which tactics such website is using to get the first rank in google places for some queries , only in google places (not organic serp).

Each time a website is launched (with such domain name scheme) , each time it get the first place in local search...
- exemple : "internet 33140" query (google.fr)

The websites seems to be not optimized for seo (no history, no PR or whatsoever...), listing is poorly filled up

Inclosed a report from seobook extension with 2 urls competitors (see enclosed).

It seems that this website (or page) is granted for link juice coming from the tld, but normally it doesn't interfere with subdomain ?

Tks a lot for your comments..

Google Places rankings vary quite a bit depending on your location and the competition of your niche. You'll have to provide some more details in order to get any help on your questions...

Tks for your reply, what do you need exactly as details ?

Do a search for G Maps Cash. It was posted in the downloads section some Months ago and gives easy to follow video guides on how to play g places.

It is not all about SEO it is also about the level of trust G places on a bricks and mortar business. The more mentions (not particularly links but they all help) your site can get in what are known as tier 1 and tier 2 directories the better.

Start by searching out the vids view them and you will understand all this a lot better.

Tks to you both geezer466 and txhepoker

txhepoker : tks a lot for your sharing stuff (downloading...)..i'll keep you informed on if it's understandable for french seo newbies :)

geezer466 : "tier 1 and tier 2 directories" have to understand the meaning (french) , assume that deal with level of trustiness ?

Many tks again..
