Quick quesgtion which may have been answered somewhere.

Assume my search term is "southwold conservatories" - Local search - town southwold.

I get some organic results but no "places" box - not one entry. How then does this work?

Does it mean that If I make a good places entry
    we suddenly get the box?

    Hope someone can help

You first need to add to Google places, get reviews and links for local directories (yelp, Yellowpages etc). But it still may not guarantee that you will be in that box as it is calculated by Google on its own.

Create a category with the exact phrase you want to come up for. Also, include that phrase in some of your reviews.
