absolutely yes. Also make sure all of the citations are EXACTLY the same, meaning if the address on the listing is "Delta St" don't use "Delta Street" on citations. In short, Copy-Paste only.

Take a look at virtual offices. You can get a nice address for pretty cheap.
 
Getting on Googel Places as "spam" is pretty though. there are a few work arounds which allow you to get verified in other areas you cant receive a post card and there is NO need for a VO purchase. PM me. I can help out.
 
You can buy a virtual address and use it for google places.

Easy. You can use post office boxes. You can also turn off the address in control panel
