Google did not delete any street map of UK. When you actually list your business in Google Places, and trying to fill the form - a Street Address is required. Now, if you don't want to have any street address included in your listing, you have the option to check a small box [do not show address in my listing]. By doing this, once your listing will go live. only your city, county, & zip code in UK will be seen.

There is couple of technique you can follow in google place listing.You can find the address by blocks,buildings,block.There is lot of technique for google place listing.But it matters which technique is sweet-able for your product...
