I just started fooling with Google Places. I tried to list a friend of mine.

    1. I created a new website for him, with the city name and niche name in the url.
    2. Went to Google Places under a very fresh proxy. (Proxy doesn't trigger google search or youtube video captchas as other abused proxy servers I've used have).
    3. All cookies, flash cookies, etc. have been cleared.
    4. Created a new Google Account with an email address of that new website as the domain.
    5. Tried to use a Twilio number that calls my phone. And bam I get the "We?re sorry, but we are unable to serve your request at this time. Please try back in a few minutes. " Which will not go away days later.

I tried on a different proxy, creating a Google Account this time with a yahoo email address for the Google Account. Tried again with a different Twilio number and "banned" error message again.

From some courses like Google Maps Cash, Chad was able to use Skype numbers and mentioned other places like vumber. So was hoping Twilio would work.

I'll probably try again this time with a real phone number, but I'm curious if anyone else has had this much trouble just getting a listing even started. I haven't even gotten to any place that even asks me what my businesses name or domain is. Just check phone number to see if the business is included and then error.
