I was ranked number 1 for "MyCity Web Design," for the place pages.

99% white-hat on the page. My company name is "MyCity Web Design," but I had 3 reviews posted from out of town. (out of 8)

My place page is still active, but it's not showing up in the local listings under my search term. This happened right when I updated my phone number and verified the listing.

Any ideas of what's going on, or have you run into this before?

    Thanks. ~englandrm

its like the sand box effect. change your citations to match the new phone number and you will be back up there soon.

Deanus90 is correct if you change anything on your listing Google will remove you and will take some time to get you back where you belong, it happened to me and like you I said 'You What????' but I am back where I was top of the pile as if nothing happened except my blood pressure. Keep adding citations slowly and get reviews (not from the same computer) added using your keywords.

Is there anything I can do to get it back up there?

And I know it's probably a stupid question, but is there a time-frame that anyone else has run into?

ahhh, I gotta change all the numbers on all my citations. Forgot about that. Almost tempted to go back to my old number.

    Thanks for all the advice.
