Hello,
I am looking for an expert that could help us with a google penalty, from the looks of it, an algorithmic one. There was never a manual penalty.
The website is 13+ years old and as such it has had lots of links in the past that are now deemed "bad".
Therefore we have already submitted a disavow to google on OCTOBER 2020 in the hopes it would help... but it did not make a difference. We have had 941 domains disavowed.
Here is a picture from google analytics showing we get more traffic from bing as well as duckduckgo than from google. We get almost as many from yahoo. So this is quite a clear indication of an algorithmic penalty.

Approximately 14 months have gone into trying to restore the website. All the articles have been rewritten and updated and each month we are posting new ones.
We've purchased many contextual links from blog posts (not blog networks, but real sites). This has helped in getting a bit more traffic from bing and duckduckgo, but does not move a needle with google.
We've also done a lot of semantic and technical optimizations. This has brought about a near perfect score in pagespeed insights.

None of this seemed to help with google and did not make any difference in bringing in google traffis, so we are now looking for assistance from an expert.
REQUIREMENTS:
- You need to show me recent penalty removal projects that you have done in this year.
- You need to let me know your proceedure and plan of attack. You do not have to reveal your specific tricks of the trade, however I need to know what you will do approximately so that I can make sure no redundant work is done that will not help with the project at all.
Cheers.
