Just a quick notice on the new Google penalty. Last week Google started issuing a new manual penalty, targeting rich snippets that are considered fake and spam-like. Some webmasters have already received the new type of alert on this.The update is aimed to target websites that use rich snippets in a black-hat, spammy manner.

As I've always left it for Google to decide what part of my article to show in the snippets, I'm sure I'll be fine.

If your stuff is legit or at least legit looking you don't have to worry about it. This is one of those penalties you can actually avoid simply by not being lazy.
