Hey all, I have a blogspot blog ranking top 5 for a couple of keywords. I am planning to do a redirect of my blog to a local business's website (for some $ of course).

I have two questions on this:
1. Can I do a redirect from a .blogspot domain to another domain with totally different content?
2. If it is a yes for 1., will I lose my ranking over time?

Thank you.

Another example: Assuming my blog myps3games.blogspot.com ranks highly for keyword "ps3 games". Then I redirect from myps3games.blogspot.com to www.gamespot.com.

What will happen to the rankings of my blog?

1. If you are asking how to redirect, then yes, you can redirect using meta refresh tag:

<meta http-equiv="REFRESH" content="0;url=http://www.yoursite.com"></HEAD>

Put the above code in to the blogger html code.

2. Don't know about that.
