It's been over 8 or more months since google penalized falconplumbing. net, the keyword I was aiming for was "plumber miami" and such but something happened and my website was taken off from keywords related to "plumber miami...". I redid the h1 h2, title tags and such, made changes on webmaster tools. I have no idea why google would penalized the website... any ideas how i can fix this issue?

thanks a lot

Did you do something blackhat? Interested in this coz it can b a lesson :)

What did you do when you built a shit ton of links all at once?
Your diversity isn't very strong:

All that spam hitting that one phrase.

Ziomeknb,

Wrightwilliams has a very good point. If you haven't removed those links and your backlink profile is not very diverse, you will have a hard time coming back. Try and build a more diverse backlink profile. Get some no-follow links along with do follow ones. Don't build a whole bunch at once. Try and make it look natural. Theoretically Google hates any kind of link schemes but if you can make it "look" natural, this is very powerful and will help you recover.

Try getting rid of some of those spammy backlinks on your own. As a last resort you could try using the disavow links tool and then send in a reconsideration request to Google.

SEOMoz always has good tips for link building,

Good luck,

Shawn

I just checked the site and you have way too much anchor text with the word miami plumbing

Start removing all the spammy links and then approach Google. Your site should be up then

All that spam hitting that one phrase.

This is BHW or have I opened a thread on DigitalPoint by accident skinned with the BHW theme?

96 links isn't a "s**t load" of links IMO and it'll probably be the dance.

Did you get a letter in WMT saying you've been penalized?

With such low volume I doubt very much you've been punished, spread the links out with good links if you're worried.
Don't disavow or remove. That's going backwards and a total waste of time.

You're still indexed.

If you build 20 links for other anchor text you'll balance out your link profile.

Removing links is not the key!

In addition... build more links but mixed anchor links (use brand terms)... you've more than likely been out ranked.
Your competition have EMD's and rating schema.org implemented.

rotorooter.com/miami/ has 1000+ back links (77 in the last 60 days) while you've done nothing.

People telling you to remove links while the #1 ranking website has over 1000 back links have no idea what they're talking about.

some basic questions you need to ask yourself

whats the backlink plan you have put? Is it one month or consistent approach

did you use unique content ?? If yes -- then do you put one article in a month or 4 articles a month or more ?!? and is it consistent ?

thanks guys, should I just get different anchor inbound links, or more nofollow?
