No problem. I usually insert the main keyword in bold in the first paragraph only though.

i try to keep 1 instance of the main keyword in bold on my page. no issue with being number 1.
i picked up on this suggestion when I ran CORA on my site and competitors and the suggestion pointed to strong tag as being important

Just don't stuff too much, make it look natural and keeping it bold or italics doesn't matter
