Seems like more and more people are turning to this method although I have seen less YT vids appearing on the first page in my niches.

Seriously. Just build Authority. However you can. If its through social media, or searches, the idea is to bring traffic to your site. Depending on Google for your living is really poor SEO.

SEO means surviving in spite of Google.

Just imagine you're a music video promoter such as Vevo. You'll get to the first page if you work like them

After a VERY bouncy last 10 days or so, my serps for my site have returned back to normal. Whatever it was, it wasn't panda.

My sanboxed site that has been getting 15 uniques a day got close to 300 today. I'm sure it won't last with keyword density in the 50% range I'm sure it'll get slapped again. I'm just too busy to fix it.

My overall search engine impressions and such having been improving since November 5th for my in-house site. I am both nervous and excited. Nervous, because... this site has a lot of unfortunate spam created before I came in-house offsite. It also, by necessity, has some onsite problems (but the sites ranking ahead of it are MUCH WORSE for this, so WTF is Googles problem I have no idea, its only in one country and its pissing me off!) and I don't know if I've done enough (I made some changes and Google rewarded me in the early Nov update so I'm doing SOMETHING right) and the stakes are really high if I'm wrong (gulp!).

What a stupid industry to have a job in, lol.

Oh well. I have 7 days. I'm going to be speed-writing my way and adding in lots of fresh new content... haha

I had a huge hit... On my biggest website I lost 50-60% of the traffic and in the second almost 70%

In the past after one of this updates I started to gain traffic little by little but I hate loosing this traffic overnight.
