Google Panda Update Coming Soon Say Google's Gary Illyes

Oh no, I have a feeling Panda will smash me to pieces because of my AdSense placement :(

There she comes again... I have a hard feeling one of my main income site is done this time :P

Done a ton of optimization to my site and these updates are ALWAYS gold for whatever reason. As long as you're building your site by the book and keep it optimized you should love these updates.

It's difficult to be completely clean when you're a performance junkie.

I partition the content that's served by user agent to separate the tablet, mobile and desktop users then tweak each separately to squeeze out performance to the last drop. Hiding footers here, "Sources" sections there, making sidebars disappear. It all ends up streamlined as hell to make me $$$ but ultimately it's scary wondering how Panda will react to it. My mobile site doesn't even have a logo/header area just navigation, couple of lines of content then bang a rectangular ad there so it just fits onto the bottom of the screen.

I usually have mobile and tablet ads as the first thing under the navbar but with Panda coming I had to change that just in case. Goodbye CTR :(

I completely agree with you but sometimes I feel like Google does these updates for their own benefits too. So as a result it should not harm someone like you or even me. Let's see how it impacts this time... Finger crossed :)

Google New PANDA is going to kill all non mobile responsive websites :)

R.I.P - NON MOBILE RESPONSIVE WEBSITES :)

Thank for the info and this is not an algorithmic update. It's just a data refresh and hope that it won't have any worse impact on sites.

Oh oh... I have a bad feeling about these....

Worst thing though is Panda is always followed by a Penguin 2 or 3 weeks later.....

Bring it on suckers. Everyone's days are numbered, the doomsday is coming and it's gonna hit everyone hard.

There is nothing to fear... but if you have low quality website... ;)

What do you mean by low quality websites?

If you're building any kind of links to your website un-naturally, then, i guess that is YOUR definition of low quality websites.

We don't know yet, which kind of link building they're be facing this time around.

No sense panicking about it tbf.. as someone mentioned above - it's not something we have not encountered before.. as always SEOs will analyze and adapt!

Bring it on , its when i make the most money fixing all the blackhat spam performed on legit / brick mortar / service companies!

BRING IT BRING IT BRING IT

What's the name of Matt Cutts replacement? Because he was replaced, you think there gonna mention it this time? or keep it hush?

Greatly looking forward to any chaos this brings in the coming days. I always love this Google madness.
