Google Panda 2.2 - Profile Backlinks - 7 days Report

Yesterday by outsource i got 100 profile link (paul package) Lets see what will happen with that.Should i blast those profile link by SB for indexing...advance thanks for your suggestion.

I have been signed up to a links packet for a while now just to collect data, not used them properly - may just outsource them and see if it helps

I see a lot of you getting excited but this is very common to have a new site rank high initially. You need at least 30-60 days to get a better idea. If the OP could post information about how competitive the keywords are that would also help.

I've had many new sites rank really well for keywords for a short period of time initially only to have them drop way back in the search results. Almost always it still took solid link building to get them back to good rankings.

Probably just targeting the wrong/too competitive keywords. They can be hard to find ... but there are still tons of phrases with 1k+ EXACT and competition as low as "ALLINTITLE:keyphrase" less than 100 matches

Some days you just get lucky ... other days I spend a whole weekend and end up with just a small handful of keywords ... or even just one or two lol

Ya I agree, many of my sites went up really quick then dropped to nowhere and after a couple months slowly built back up but solid. Profile links still work and will get you results but I wouldn't rely on them for competitive terms. But like the OP said it's easy comp, so thanks for the test. Testing is always good and love to see results.

I think people FAIL to understand what PANDA really is. Its more of a RANKING FACTOR. And its still not fully in effect. They currently run it in batches, each time there is an update to Panda itself, they run it and each time it runs only a percentage of the sites in Google's index are reassessed.

I am doing profile links for my bring the fresh users from nearly a year and they all are happy. So profile links work everytime. But if it build 1000 a day to a new site then it will not give positive results.

Day 12 - 14: # 251
Day 15: #83 (Very Happy)

I will Update if i reach #1 page very soon

Now my competition is in Medium Range as it is related to insurance. have to fight hard. I built few authority links in the past week. Will Keep you updated in the coming week strategy..

I made the same experiment with forum profiles, but only using Expression Engine forums because they don't have a Signature limit and you can put an entire spinned article in there for better indexing rate.

I made 1000 profiles, 200 of them are already indexed using LinkLicios.me.
I've used an exact match.
It's a micro-niche.
Allintitle: 2800
Position: #17 after 3 days.

Have to say it`s great to be back ^^
6 months ago i got banned because i had a Trojan but now I`m back in business.

* On Topic *
Profiles backlinks work great but there are a lot of things you need to do in order to obtain real value for your website.

This are the tips i can share with you guys so you can do this linkbuilding method right :

*Don`t do lists that everyone has (angela, paul, 200.000 xrumer profiles etc.)
*Focus on authority forums (above PR 3) that are supposed to be human edited in google eyes and provide linkjuice and trust to your website.
*Don`t just wait and expect to get indexed. This are profiles of a forum and of course that without any help 98% will not get indexed naturally. Especially since all you do is activate the profile, trow the backlink and never come back again with a post or a revisit or something.
*Use only forums that allow exact anchor text in signature. Most forums (about 80% of those that allow signature) will let you only place your URL or use anchor texts such as " homepage" ; "website", "Visit my website" etc. This have 0 value for your website unless you want to optimize for keyword " homepage " ^^
*Last but not least, you need to build backlinks to this profiles.

My profiles are indexed 60% in average, after 2 weeks to 1 month, if not even more. You just need to make sure they get indexed and have real value for your website.
My list of 300 forums have been selected from over 80.000 valid forums. This means you need to work a lot to get a really good profile linkbuilding ^^.

About SEO benefits : Lately I`ve been doing only micro niche websites and i start linkbuilding on them with this method. In 2 weeks to 1 month I get on first page for almost everything. If the competition is harder, i still get between 10-25 every time.

I agree, profile backlinks is the best way to increasing your SERP with minimum effort we can improve our site rank. Specially profile backlinks with PR3 or higher.
