Google PageRank update 11/08/11

I launched a blog a just under a month ago, It went from Page Rank 0 to Page Rank 4 today, Some sites though show my page rank as 3 - What is the best tool to use to check page rank & how often does google update it's page rank?

Man, a shit load of my bought and expired domains dropped, so I can bet a lot of high PR networks have dropped like crazy. One of my PR6 pages went to 0 :(
 
Got about 10-15 inner pages that went from PR3-PR4 to PR5.
I have to interlink better I think and send more juice to my homepage.
 
few months old site went from 1-0
1 month old site went from 0-3

gotta love gaygle

lol but its still in top 1 ranking :)

nothing too much to get excited about for me. maybe a bit of upward movement from some interior pages, but home pages are all still 4 and 5.
 
I love their updates today.. My 31days old site got PR1 Already! :D

and my other site got PR3! :D
 
Pr1 - pr6 ;) on a site I've been doing some heavy work on.

Slightly surprised it's not PR7 though... has a lot of d0follow PR8/PR7 links to it with low OBL.

PR and SERP have nothing to do with each other. They don't know each other, they aren't friends with each other, they don't like each other and don't even want to, overall, they don't give a sh*t about each other
 
what is the deal with people and PR? I have always wondered why people are so worried about it. I have been in SEO a long time. I personally wish they would get rid of pagerank.

Unless your involved with PR networks PR is useless really. It doesnt affect serps.

PR doesn't determine SERPS. Even a PR 1 can beat PR 7 on selected keywords :cool: By the way I'm a person who doesn't care about the PR but I care for my MozRank which is more accurate than Google PR.
 
my 2.5 month old site just got PR4,and other sites just got PR2 and PR3,LOL
 
My sites except one stayed same pr, one big one went to pr4, and its been a pretty nice email collection site!
