Google suffered an outage a few hours ago.

Three workers were working at an electrical substation when an arc flash occurred.
An arc flash is an electrical blast and is fucking hotter than the sun, resulting in instant third degree burns. Hope these people are alright.

Not sure if any of you noticed, but those of us with scrapers running 24 x 7 noticed, had our hearts skip several beats with the exception notifications from all instances, panicked like a little bitch, tried to blindly mitigate the issue, saw the issue resolve on its own.
