Does building links on Quora help or not? SEJ wrote an interesting piece on the topic.

I will put that info on my bag

Link building on quora will really help you. That is a experience and you should build value to quora answers. They are high quality links. Just remember "Dont spam things".

But isn't it so easy to place links in Quora answers. It can result in huge spam in future.

Interesting read, basically no point building links on Quora.

but recently I noticed quora spaces are another way to garner audience for your site.

According to Google any link you build is bad.

If Google had their way, Every article you write would be 5000 words of university-level content with an authority sourced after every sentence, and a panel of experts who agree your content is acceptable. It would only rank with perfect DA 100 authority backlinks.

Google is delusional and they know it. If google says not to do something your better off doing it.

:):):):)

Google is never tp be trusted, but what I meant is, since the article suggested all links are spammy links(just like other forum links) and Google's rep claims they take notice of the (spammy)quora links.

Anyway you're right, never to trust Google on mostly SEO claims

Just few weeks before in this very same website this very rep claimed that Web 2.0 are bad spammy links. Here a secret - they works. Place yourself in his chair - you know that the algorithm cannot tell bad from good links. What are you going to say to discourage people to build this links? :)

"Clearly, link building on Quora for traffic is not realistic."

I mean.. lol. This, of course, depends on the answer + your niche/website.

Other favourite lines from the article:
"Those spammers will predictably argue that Web 2.0 links still work and do it loudly."
"I really don’t get how anyone can publish an article promoting Web 2.0 links and call themselves an Internet marketer or a sage."
"The strategy itself is so simple a third-grader could have created it during recess."
