I'm a bit confused and frustrated... I have a site I've been SEO-ing for a week, and I'm nowhere to be found on Google. If I do site:<url>, it DOES show up, but that's the only way I can find it in Google.
Keep in mind this domain has had nothing BH at all pointed at it (Well okay...maybe a few manually added comments to some blogs, but nothing that would raise an alarm from Google), and it has 100% unique content (no spinning).
I've done the following:
I just submitted a request for reconsideration through Google just to make sure a previous owner of the domain didn't get it blacklisted.
Any suggestions, anybody in the same situation?

I've done the following:
- On page SEO with SEO Ultimate WP plugin + SEO check.
- Created a sitemap and submitted it to Google Webmaster Tools.
- Pinged the site.
- Manually added it using Google's "add a site to crawl" page.
