Hi,
Yesterday I submitted my website for indexing and used the fetch as google function in google webmater tools. But my website is not yet indexed.
When i search site:domainame.com, Google shows no results.
And one strange thing I noticed is that there was already a site map submitted when I checked for the first time. Dont know how it came there. Someone might have used the domain before me.

Any ideas on the issue??

just a few. I made the website yesterday. 7 links I guess

Can you ping me the domain name in Pm?
I'll help you with it :)
Need to check few stuffs before :D

I'll just give idea's, rest you need to cover out.

PM ed the domain name

You might need to wait 36 hours at least, then your website will show up for sure!

When I checked the Bing webmaster. A sitemap has already submitted back in 2012. And Wordpress shows 883000 visitors all time to my website although I have only bought this domain name yesterday. wierd...

I think I can help you with that. Hit me up at PM and I'll do my best.

Just use youtube video related your niche and embed it within the content and link out to a authority site like wedmd, wikipedia etc... and check result after 24 hrs and get back here

I once waited for a week to get my brand new site indexed

Could you please expatiate on this? I have a blog that I've been doing ******** blog commenting for but every time I check for sites linking to it, I keep getting 0. I have a feeling that if I could get your method, It'll be a breakthrough for me. Thanks

it's normal, even my website occasionally does that. just keep your site updated so that every time it gets visited by the bots, there's new content to index

Give it some more time, like a week or two.

try paid SE submission
It will work definitely.
Indexing however takes time

be patient, wait and it will be indexed soon..

is you want to fastest indexing then you have to pay for indexing services

It may have been crawled, but don't expect it to be indexed overnight. Sometimes it may even take a few weeks for a new website to be indexed.
