Google nice business (Lounge shitthread)

After 4 bottles of beer i just want to share my Lounge vibe thoughts

Ive been scrolling this "market cap" website for fun



And i thought, what company from the WHOLE list i would choose as the most stable and perspective?

Apple's revenue depends almost 60% (yeah, that much) on iPhone sales. If people get tired of it = stocks drop.

Saudi Aramco - the end of oil reserves = bye bye

Facebook - do you still use it? who even needs social shit? Don't believe this crap will be today's size in 15 years

NVIDIA - nice, very big demand for GPU , has competitors though like AMD

Amazon - simple giant ecommerce


But Google....

They simply do not have any competitors. (Bing or Duckduckgo is a joke, Yandex is local)

They have billions for advancing the search engine.

And people will always search on web.

So Google is one of a kind

Why would Google still lays off employee, it's just like some beurocratic routing?
Bing+duck+yahoo+yandex are 10% total search volume.
So if you got a 100 search volume keyword you may get 10 search volume outside google.
But there are larger problems. Your click though rate may take a nose dive due to ai integrated search for example on bing.
This may as well happen to google too, very soon...

They also own google ads, youtube. A lot of great stuff. I know we love to hate on them but they're dominating for a reason.

this business model: get the whole world's searches + show super targeted ads = just brilliant. Almost $100 bln annual net profit. Jesus.

of course they don't give a fck about website owners and their Google positions dropping
