Google News Syndication Strategy Help

Hi All,

I recently got my site accepted into Google News, because I heard that it was a good way to syndicate your content. I have two specific questions and one broad one?

1) Will I run into dup content issues, and if yes, should I not syndicate my content to Google News if I"m a new site?

2) How do you write articles that Google News will actually index? I've already created a News Sitemap.

3) Have you guys seen success syndicating to Google News? Are there any tricks you can share?

Your site is new so I will say avoid any duplicate content... Duplicate content may result in exclusion from Google news...

Hire some freelancer or write on your own but content should be unique and quality...

For ranking you could use general SEO... Same principle applies here... Content should have news touch, I believe you understand what I am saying here...

Sitemap helps but even without it Google news will index your content... My site is also in Google news and I am doing same...

Hi I also have been approved by Google News. I use Google Trends to monetize it, but I have low CTR. Can someone share how to more monetize it?
 
I also see low CTR... When i received traffic from search rngine my CTR is 7%+ and with G news it's 1-3%... It happens because Google throws good amount of traffic and most of visitors are just looking for information... No body goes to G news to buy stuff... They go there to get quality information.... Although if you try, you may make good money from G news since you don't have to work hard to achieve 1st page ranking... Optimized and targeted ads can bring more...
 
I have been an active Google News publisher for 2 days and during those 2 days I have generated exactly 590 & 1384 unique, organic visitors from Google (I have pics of my google analytics but I don't think I can post them here).

I earn $$ doing promotions and affiliate marketing and the amount of new email opt-in's has been solid.

I want something in return for teaching people about my niche and how to capitalize on it (if I just gave this info away for free i'd be diluting my own earnings potential).

How can you know, that your site just get banned?

I afraid i have same problem, my site (google news approved) has very low in traffic in this few days.

in my experience, the layout play a big role in CTR. i suggest you to try some research to find best layout that can resulting max CTR.
