Google news Question

Nice question i bookmarked this thread and want to hear professionals now. Also i goggled a bit and can't find the answer.

I don't think so, people do everything and burn so much money on articles and what not to get into Google News from what I can tell, once a domain expires, it doesn't have the same content anymore, Google isn't dumb to let that happen I guess. If they really don't loose their Google News approval, I would be amazed. Anyways, looking to get a professional answer as well.

Following for the expert answer.

I highly doubt expires domain will not lose approved status.

Someone I know bought an expired domain due to the PR and as a bonus got Google News inclusion. The domain belonged to a real newspaper before it dropped and he made a news site on it. His posts still show up in G news. So his domain stayed approved. Don't know if that is always the case or if it is on a case by case basis..
