Google news domain drop - questions

If the site is in google news, but the domain expires, will it be kicked out of google news or not? Or how lucky is it? Will he be looking for Google news at the same time?

it could be either way. I saw some not visible on google search but they were still approved in news panel
 
Depends on the site.

I've definitely had one of my earliest domains be dropped and bought it back. To my surprise, all content was kept on Google News and still is today.
