First, Verify the ownership of your site using google webmaster and submit your sitemap.

Google requires more than one author for a website, if you have only one author name, then you won't get into Google News and also Content must be 100% original. Each article must have a clear title, author name and date of publication.

Google News is actively looking for news blogs to include in its feed.
However, your news has to be relatively unique.
Also, you have to have a tight niche focus.
The tighter your niche focus the higher the likelihood that Google News will include you in its search results.
Keep in mind however that the traffic that you can get from Google News is not as hot as before.
As more and more people get a clue regarding the traffic Google News can deliver, there's less and less traffic to split up among people who do manage to get listed.
