Hi, I am based in Europe, but I want to list my business on Google Maps in the US. Google is asking for a verification via a video where I need to record my office and the surrounding area from my window.
Obviously, if I record the surrounding area from my window, they will see that I am not located in the US.
Is there any other way to verify my business on Google Maps?

This is the current standard for GMB verification in many cases now. I also tried the video verification route but got rejected 3 times with almost no explanation which was super frustrating. I also reached out to Google support directly but didnt get any useful help. Only automated responses to try again. Right now it seems very strict and hard to bypass.

In case your company does not have an actual physical presence in the us there is really no solution available to you. The only thing you can do is find a place that qualifies according to Google’s standards, since the listing is bound to get suspended eventually

Google verification is meant to confirm the actual business location, so there is really no reliable shortcut, If you have a genuine US presence, use that; otherwise, verifying the location where you operate.

If your business genuinely operates in the US, verify it using your real US location or eligible service area. Trying to verify a listing for a location where you don't actually have a presence is likely to fail. If video verification is required, it's best to follow Google's process rather than looking for workarounds.
