I'm new here, so I wouldnt want to show bias, since I have used only one service anyway. You should take a look at the SEO Packages section and see which service is right for you and your budget. I read the reviews, and looked at who was purchasing the services. Like reading profiles and trying to see if any were bogus. It took me a week of reading before I decided. Give it a shot.

No One gave exact idea about Google My Business Post will Increase Your rankings. Google will Display your post down of your Local Listings, so some chance click on post at that time you got more traffic, this is one of the reason, and One more that post appear one week only after that the post will appear in Local listings admin profile only.

If you offer a special and you have a high user engagement it does increase rankings. It's more of a nice feature to help spread the word of changes, specials and things that may be happening with your business! Each feature can cause ranking changes because of behavior being a ranking factor.

you backlinked your website? Or backlinked your google listing URL directly

website, as far as I know and found out, backlisting the website itself helps the local rank. I havnt seen anything about backlinking the listing.

Backlinking to the GMB URL does help boost behavior so it does help, that is if user engagement and behavior is lacking.
I'd like to know what service that you used and how much you.paid.
