Actually, you will definitely need to get the postcard to get the address verified, before they list it on google maps.
Otherwise, if you do not have an address, try getting a virtual office address instead, and that would work in some circumstances.

I got my business verified with no postcard, though, it wasn't the intention and I can receive a postcard to verify
