Google mark my site Dangerous

One of my sites got this mark and now disabled.

Site was used for some alt activity, and had some old folder where was CPA download link that might got infected over years.

I've removed folder and explained this in my verification request.

Anybody with similar experience? Is there hope or site is dead?

no! thankfully didn't experience this kind of thing yet

From my experience if the infected content is removed and you ask for verification again through the Google Search Console it will almost always get approved.
