Google's March update has passed, why is my website traffic not increasing, but has been declining? Is yours the same?

Has the website been demoted? But there is no prompt in Google search tool.

Also, one of my websites has minority languages ranked at the front, but the homepage of www is in the fourth or fifth position.

This situation has been going on for a long time.

Since the update, the traffic exposure has been declining every day.

The minority language ranking over your main homepage is severe cannibalization. Google's confused about which page is the authority hub. You need to strengthen the main homepage's internal links, make its Title/H1 super unambiguous for the brand keyword, and meticulously check your hreflang and canonical tags to ensure the homepage is clearly marked as the x-default or the primary target.

You’re not the only one experiencing this, many people are facing the same drop. Three of my colleagues’ sites also went down, and even some link building companies have been in loss until November because of this algorithm change. It’s a broad update, not a specific penalty.

After a Google update, a drop in traffic is normal, it's definitely not a penalty. Minority-language pages can overtake your homepage, pushing it down; focus on content quality, internal linking, and monitoring trends.

My website in a highly competitive niche has started to increase its positions for some keywords.
However, I believe that the guest posts I posted on strong news websites about 6-7 months ago played a role.
In any case, I stopped worrying about drops. Google's search results are not static. It's normal for your website to rise and fall from time to time.

I think you just need to keep working on your website, filling it with interesting content and working on keywords, and the results will come over time.
Just be patient.
